Can you match my existing shingle color?
Close, but never perfectly. Anyone who promises invisible is overselling. Shingles fade in the sun, so a new shingle in the original color reads slightly darker at first and blends as it weathers. We match manufacturer and color line when we can, and place repairs to keep them visually quiet.
A few shingles blew off in the wind. Is that urgent?
Reasonably urgent, yes. A missing shingle exposes the underlayment, which handles weather for a while but is not designed to be the roof. Fixed within a few weeks, no harm done in dry weather. Left through a rainy month or a winter freeze-thaw season, the deck below starts drinking water.
Why are my shingles curling or losing granules?
